Jo, I totally read your blog, but as you know it doesn't do me a lot of good where I live! BUT, I'm proud of you for having such a beneficial hobby and look forward to starting up when we get back to the States!
I am here - my only struggle is that most of the things are products I don't even buy...plus, I still only get a few coupons a month and they aren't usually for things I buy either. But my great deal of the week, just so you know I am trying, was I $3.00 off coupon for dry cleaning. I got Zach's suit cleaned for $5 -- I thought it was a good deal.
Hey Jo...I'm a loyal reader, too, but not a great coupon-er. I don't even get the paper. BUT, I did get one superb deal this week! This new cereal, Trail Mix Crunch, was on sale 2/$5 at Smith's and I had one of those store coupons that print off with your receipt for $2.00 off one box, so I got a box for $0.50. But, when I got home and was checking my receipt I noticed that they overcharged me on my oranges...so I'm sure my savings all were eaten up. DRAT!
I'm with you too, Jo. Keep up the good work! Here's my deal for the week. I used the Talbot's gift card mom and dad sent me for my birthday, and bought 3 pair of pants and a shirt, and only paid 25 CENTS for the whole thing! LOVE it!
B1G1F = Buy 1 Get 1 FREE B2G1F = Buy 2 Get 1 FREE Tearpad = Coupons found in aisles at stores and do NOT come in Sunday papers Catalina = Coupons printed out at cash register when you buy a combination of specific products OYNSO = On Your Next Shopping Order
If you want to be a "professional" coupon-shopper, you will visit each store that has a great deal every week. But, honestly, who wants to do that? The gas alone would make all the deals you got worthless. And time? Nobody that I know has that much time. So, here's what I do...I look to see who has the best deals each week and go there. That way, I know I haven't missed out on much and I can go on with the rest of my crazy life for the week. However, if I know I will be making a trip near Walgreen's (or whatever), I will stop in because I'm right there anyway. Don't kill yourself off or you will end up spending more money than you'll save!
I'm a busy mommy of 5 who just adores crocheting cute things! I'm easy to spot...just look for the gal with a baby in arms, ponytail in hair, and crochet hook in hand!

I'm here! By the way, you can only get a dollar off coupon on those chips now. Bummer.
